What’s The Point of Keeping Coming Back?
The richness of a horoscope is mind-blowing. The first birth chart I ever studied was my own. Yet, here I am, years later, still discovering new things in it.
This means hundreds of hours looking at a single horoscope.
From this perspective, a one-time reading of 90 to 120 minutes, can only go so far. So, the more you come back, the better you’ll get to know your chart, yourself, the people in your life and how you need to grow.
What Does an Ongoing Guidance Session Look Like?
We already know each other. We have met for a ‘Natal’ or a ‘Present and Future’ Reading before and have discussed several aspects of your chart. Now, we’re continuing our conversation.
The Ongoing Guidance session is essentially another present and future reading. It focuses on the upcoming six to twelve-month period, while also covering any long-term astrological transits or milestones that need further exploration and clarification – such as Planetary Returns and Planetary Maturations. Learn more below.
When appropriate, we also examine the recent past using astrological tools. This can be truly helpful when dealing with inner turmoil or doubt.
And we discuss whatever else you need to talk about, such as relationships, co-workers, bosses, employees, children, parents, pets, career, money, health, travel, life purpose – all from an astrological perspective, for a 90 minute session, or a bit more if necessary.
Getting Your Planetary Returns Right!
A ‘Present and Future’ reading , and thus any Ongoing Guidance session, will include the timing and interpretation of any important planetary return that might occur soon.
A planetary return in astrology is when a planet returns to the exact position in the zodiac it occupied at a person’s birth. As the end of a cycle, it’s a time for checks and balances. Yet it also marks a beginning, an opportunity for setting new intentions and starting fresh
The two most significant returns for anyone are the Jupiter Return and the Saturn Return. Jupiter returns occur around ages 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, and so on. The more critical Saturn Return happens first around ages 28 to 30, and then again around 57 to 60.
This means that if you book a reading when you’re approaching one of these ages, we will definitely delve into the importance of handling your return properly and discuss how to do so.
Had I been duly prepared for my 1st Saturn Return, it wouldn’t have been so painful. Nevertheless, my afflicted Saturn still had to mature, which only happened later, at 36 – Saturn’s maturation age for each of us.
Which brings me to this other paramount ingredient of any Ongoing Guidance session.
What Are Maturations?
These are among my favorite insights from Ernst Wilhelm, my amazing astrology teacher. They’re very accurate and delightful to work with. More importantly, exploring these maturations in depth helps clients navigate them more smoothly and emerge stronger.
The concept is simple: every planet matures at a certain age: Jupiter, at 16; Sun, at 21; Moon, at 24; Venus, at 25; Mars, at 28; Mercury, at 32; Saturn, at 36; Rahu, at 42; and Ketu at 48 years old.
During the year of a planet’s maturation, the native will reap many of the indications of that planet.

Before that age, a person isn’t completely able to exercise the full function of that planet. But from then onwards, they will, to the best of their ability. So maturations are developmental moments of great importance.
However, the year of the maturation itself can be bumpy, depending on the condition of that planet in the chart. “During the year of a planet’s maturation, the native will reap many of the indications of that planet.” (Vault of the Heavens, Wilhelm, 2001) It is always better to prepare for it.
So, again, if your upcoming year involves a planetary maturation – say, for instance, that you are 41, going into your Rahu maturation – then we absolutely must discuss it, as it will be of great importance for your immediate and long-term future.

Remember: Don’t let more than twelve months pass between appointments – or you won’t benefit from the special fee of €75.00.
